Forging a Path to Better Health
Frequently Asked Questions
HOW MUCH WILL EACH ADJUSTMENT COST?
Each person and every case is different. We will not know how much it will cost until the doctors have a chance to evaluate your findings, history and determine what care you will need. It is important for us to keep care affordable.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes, we accept most insurances that cover chiropractic care. At your initial visit, bring your picture ID and insurance card so we may complete a complimentary benefits check to let you know exactly what to expect. You will not incur any charges prior to us discussing them with you.
HOW MANY VISITS WILL I NEED?
Every case is different. We will not know how many visits you will need before we have had a chance to look at your history, understand your goals and perform our evaluations.
HOW LONG WILL MY FIRST VISIT TAKE?
You can expect your first visit and evaluation to take approximately 30 minutes.
WHAT ARE YOUR OFFICE HOURS?
MONDAY - 8 AM - 12 PM , 2 PM - 5 PM | TUESDAY - 2 PM - 6 PM | WEDNESDAY - 9 AM - 12 PM , 2 PM - 6 PM | THURSDAY - 9 AM - 12 PM , 2 PM - 6 PM
I HAVE MRI/X-RAYS SHOULD I BRING THEM?
Yes, if you have them feel free to bring them. The doctors would be happy to look at any previous studies that you have. They may help the doctors better understand the cause of your health concerns.
WHEN WILL I GET MY FIRST ADJUSTMENT?
The first step is to identify the cause of your health concern by looking at your history and completing thorough health assessments in our office. We typically do not start care on your first visit so that we can spend quality time looking over your findings. After gathering this information about your case, we can determine what care is required.
I AM IN A LOT OF PAIN! I WAS REALLY HOPING TO GET ADJUSTED TODAY!
We don’t typically adjust on the first visit. There are two things that are most important to us, your health and our reputation, and we are not willing to jeopardize either by rushing into your treatment. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis. It is imperative that we discuss your health history and complete our assessments at that first visit to determine the very cause of your health concerns and what type of care is needed.
WILL I NEED X-RAYS?
Every person and case is different and it depends on your health history and the outcome of your initial assessments. We do believe that to see is to know, therefore x rays are a very important tool to see the health of your spine. Diagnostic tools like x rays also help to understand any limitations and expectations for your results and healing.
QUESTIONS ABOUT A SPECIFIC ILLNESS OR HEALTH CONDITION:
Regardless of your health concern, age, previous surgery or condition we believe that by gently and specifically removing the interference from the nervous system and creating a healthier structure, your body will heal and function at a higher level. We are a results-oriented office and would love to see if we can help. We would be happy to answer any specific questions for you in the office. The doctors will spend quality time reviewing your initial assessments to determine the best care your body requires.
WHEN WILL I START FEELING BETTER?
Everyone’s body responds differently but we have grown to one of the largest offices in the entire northeast based on the incredible results we see. Some people start to feel symptomatic relief after just one adjustment and most see significant changes by their first reassessment. With every visit, we know that you are one step closer to receiving your symptomatic breakthrough, and one step close to reaching your optimal health.
I'M NERVOUS, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
We understand this may be new to you or you may have had bad experiences in the past, but don’t be nervous! We take our time to get to know what your body needs and the doctors use the most specific, gentle and effective chiropractic techniques. We will make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. We will also educate and explain everything we will do prior to starting.
